Believing and Serving in Christ

That's what BASIC does, and it's part of our overall call to ministry together.
Why is it important that the Church be a Church that is Believing and Serving in Christ?
Homeless people need to see Jesus, not juvenile deliquients. It is possible for God to be honored in even this difficult situation. I don't know Mr. Perez, but he at least sounds like he wants to BE B.A.S.I.C.
BE B.A.S.I.C. That's my encourangement to you today. James says in his Epistle:

Jam 1:23-25 (ESV) For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. (24) For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. (25) But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.

Our Baptism serves as a pivot in our lives. Before it, the only thing that mattered as far as our salvation is concerned, is the fact that we've broken the "Don't"'s you shal not lie, you shall not covet, etc. Now, all that matters is out obedience to the law of liberty, which Christ commanded as "Love one Another." Love One Another: Our LAW!!!!!!!!!
Keep the Love!!
