Last nite was the coldest nite we've been downtown in a long time.
The projected low was 32, I don't know if it made it that low or not. I do know the wind was HOWLING. The guys at Winter Park were great, one couple brought coffee and hot chocolate, and everyone worked to make sure we got things done as quickly as possible. According to the Grapevine, the Salvation Army had emergency shelter set up, but confirmation for that hid like a chicken in Haiti.
We served 26 people:
Ben, Darnell, Ann, "Shorty" (not James who says 'I don't Know'), Tracy, Ben, Leon, Steve, Curtis, Eric, Kelly, Mike, Steve, Lawerence, Herbert, Ernie, Vincent, Nigus, Jeremiah, Sherman, Tim, Brent, Ken, Ron, LeBron, and Redfeather.
Pray for them...
